OFFICERS

Nominations are being accepted by Cheryl Wiggin and Mimi Bell. If you are interested in a position, please let us know. Elections are in the spring at June meeting.  This is short description of the duties of each officer. All positions are up for election for a two-year term:

President: presides over all meetings and appoints chairpersons for committees. Attends two Region I meetings a  year.

Vice President: Develops a yearly plan and programs by contacting speakers and setting up workshops. Arranges for the cost and contracts with presenters.

Treasurer: Collects, holds, pays out of the funds of Tin Pedlar Chapter accounts. Keeps financial records in good order and reports the account information at Board and monthly meetings.

Recording Secretary: Keeps minutes of the meetings of Chapter - both Board meetings and monthly meetings. Reports minutes at monthly meetings.

Communications Director: Prepares and mails Chapter newsletters [maintains and updates Chapter web site]. Maintains up-to-date membership list. Writes one article a year for the ATHA Newsletter. Sends out cards to members or speakers as needed.

Librarian/Historian: Maintains a selection of books, periodicals and other materials relating to rug hooking. Keep chapter records and photo events at Chapter functions. Disperses and loans items to members.

Hostess: Arranges for food, coffee and other beverages to be available at monthly meetings and functions. Maintains the supplies for the food and coffee.
