Dorr Hook-in

Mount Sunapee Resort, Rt. 103, Newbury, NH
Dorr's first hook-in will be held at the beautiful Mount Sunapee Resort, just 5 miles from Dorr Mills store.
The store will be open late Friday and early Saturday.
Vendors + Lunch + Goodie Bags + Door Prizes, including a Snap Dragon frame
The resort can accomodate up to 200 people.
Please bring your most recent finished hooked piece, as there will be Viewer's Choice prizes.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and includes lunch, coffee, cookies, goodie bag and a chance to win great prizes.
Cost: $32.00 for the entire day. Full refunds will be available up to two weeks prior to the event.
Motel information will be added as soon as it's available. Special diets will be accommodated if known in advance.

Camp Wool "Howl-O-Wool" Bash

A howling good time will be had by all! The Camp Wool fall hook-in will offer two very unique features:
Costumes from Wool - There will be a contest for costumes that utilize wool in some way:
Hat, scarf, vest, hooked, punched, penny rug, etc. Costume categories eligible for prizes are:
Most Colorful Costume + Most Creative Costume + Scariest Costume + Prettiest Costume
Costume that Best Characterizes a Real or Fictional Character from a Book or Movie
and
Create an ATC (Artist Trading Card) with a Halloween theme - ATCs have been around since the mid-1990s,
mostly in mixed media, but have been brought into the rug hooking world by our Vice President, Kim Dubay.
Her recent article in Rug Hooking Magazine provides a how-to for aspiring ATC hookers.
We would like to have an ATC swap of cards with a Halloween theme. (More info on specifics forthcoming.)
Please one of your favorite rugs for display. Prizes will be awarded based on attendee vote.
Cost: $32.50 per day, $65.00 for both days
Includes coffee and morning pastries, full lunch and afternoon treats.
